Na noite de ontem ocorreu em Nashiville a 45ª cerimônia de entrega dos Country Music Association Awards, o CMA, um dos maiores prêmios da indústria de música country. Apresentado esse ano pelos cantores Brad Paisley e Carrie Underwood, o evento foi transmitido pelo canal americano ABC e contou com a presença de diversas estrelas da casa na entrega das estatuetas.
Divulgando suas séries estavam presentes Ginnifer Goodwin e Josh Dallas, ambos de Once Upon A Time; a protagonista de Revenge, Emily Vancamp; e Eric Stonestreet, da premiada Modern Family. Outras celebridades que fizeram parte da premiação foram Reese Witherspoon, Kellan Lutz (ator da saga Twilight cujo novo filme estreia em 18 de novembro) e Miss Piggy, dos Muppets que tem estreia de seu novo filme no dia 23 de novembro nos cinemas americanos.
Como toda premiação não pode deixar de ter suas performances musicais, o CMA contou com apresentações de Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts e Natasha Bedingfield, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Sugarland, The Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean e do Ganhador do American Idol, Scotty McCreery.
Ainda tivemos os apresentadores da noite cantando o dueto Remind Me, Lionel Ritchie lançando seu novo álbum Tuskegee e performance dos cinco indicados na categoria de New Artistic.
